Thanks for the response. So you still have your 9-3 at 205K miles? I'm glad to be reading of very long clutch life and so forth. I also installed a BSR PPC Stage 1 back in 2005, what a hoot. If my battery was just a little down due to non-use I'd only jump after removing the cables from the battery. Also concerned about the electronics. The last time it happened I pulled the battery and ran it on a Battery Tender for close to a month. It still seems to be pretty strong and I am running the car every four days or so. I seem to recall that battery clamp bolt is held in the nut below and doesn't come out easily. I did completely remove the clamp one time but didn't need to for other battery installs. There are some youtube videos showing a 9-3 battery replacement, so I might take a look around again. If I have to remove the battery box in order to remove the clamp bolt from the nut, that's not too bad and I'll wait until it's a bit warmer in the northeast.
