9-5 had its teething problems in 98, in 99 and in 2000, but by 2001 most of the problems were fixed. And I don't think 9-5's reliability ever
rated as low as 9-3SS reliability not even on its worst day.
So, 9-3SS was released is 2003. It's been three years. Why do you
suppose 9-3SS reliability is much below average, according to Consumer
Reports? Three years after 9-5's introduction it won JD Powers award
for initial quality.
What do you suppose accounts for the big difference?
For a stretch of approximately 5 years Saab made the most reliable
European automobiles. But now, Volvo and even Audi have surpassed Saab.
What do you suppose is going on in Trollhattan?
Cheers,
Jae
