Need FACTS on Kleen Wheels Posted by Saabpilot [Email] (#134) [Profile/Gallery] (more from Saabpilot) on Tue, 14 Aug 2007 09:40:33 Members do not see ads below this line. - Help Keep This Site Online - Signup |
PLEASE, I am soliciting facts, not opinions.
I've read past threads on Kleen Wheels. I also own a set which is installed on my 900T classic convertible with Super Inca wheels. However, those wheels are not an open style.
My '03 9-5 Aero has what I'd call the turbine style wheels - 10 spoke - with an open design. See my photos on my profile for reference.
I have more brake dust than I've ever experienced on any car. This car is still "new to me," having been purchased in January. I have purchased Euro Akebono ceramic pads but have not had time to install them yet.
My concerns are these:
1) Appearance. This is obviously subjective.
2) This is where I'd like factual feedback, not just "they're not vented well enough." I'd like to hear from people who have THESE wheels and have used Kleen Wheels. Do they vent well enough? Have you had any problems with decreased braking? What type of pads are you using?
Many of us are extremely opinionated (I'm guilty), but please, please don't send comments based on opinion with no evidence to back them up, that's all I ask. Most past comments on this issue have had no data to back them up, only people stating this or that.
Thanks in advance for any help.
