Having confirmed that my new battery is good by leaving it disconnected for a week, then reconnecting it and the engine starts just fine, versus normally it would be flat after leaving the vehicle unused for a week. I have measured a 0.30 amp drain into the car with everything off, and the bonnet open. Digging further I see 0.25 amps at fuse 17 going into the Engine Management System and can also find a little on the El Passenger Seat. My question is does anyone have an answer as to what component it might be (Oxygen sensor heater etc) that might be the culprit.
Leaving the car at the airpot for a week in Jolly Ole at Christmas seems a liability if I don't pull fuse 17.
