My son tends to lose keys. I had to pay $60 recently to get the extra unprogrammed key that came with the car programmed at the dealer so that we now have two working keys again. Since the anti-burglary feature is totally not necessary (it is a Saab after all) I would like to figure out a way to permanently bypass this feature. Has anyone figured out a permanent work-around so that the car will always start as long as the key fits in the lock? It is stupid Saab/GM stuff like this that depresses the resale value of our cars.
