I have a 2000 9-5 with a manual trans. I was wondering how high to rev in changing gears. That anoying shift up light turns on around 2000-2500 but to change gear at that rev bogs down the engine. I used to have access to a porshe that you would'nt dare push gears untill 5000 min. I know a 9-5 is not a porshe but it seams you could give it more juice before the computer recomends a shift. PS i'm getting that anoying bastard unpluged at my 1000mi service if posible.
