I'm not a mechanic but after changing the part myself, here is what I would do. Since you would have to pay for a tow and lose several hours at your mechanic to have the part changed out and don't have several days to order the part and wait - call your Saab dealer and ask if they have part # 90566947 (water control valve, AKA heater by-pass valve). Get a ride over and pick up the part. It will probably take you about an hour and a half to r/r if you are reasonably mechanical and have some basic tools. Make sure your engine is cool or you'll burn yourself. Go here to see how to change out the part: http://www.twinsaabs.com/9-5_repair/cbv/step1.asp?nsteps=2&nointro=1
Good luck.
