I paid around $9k u.s.d. for a my 03 9,5 wagon linear, last year.Low mileage. It has all the options available then, from Xenons, park assist, etc to Prestige sound system. For this same amount, I could have bought an equally used Honda Civic or Toyota Corolla.. yuk.
I've owned many C900. And my last one was a 1990 SPG. I miss my SPG for it "quick feel" special character, turning corners swiftly.. but I could no longer stand its rough ride and being so noisy. I drive over 30k miles a year. I need some comfort too.
The 9-5 starts showing some emotion over 75mph, wich is a bit sad, other than that, it's a great great car. The auto 5 speed tranny is great too, but I believe it removes some "feel" from an already quiet car too. Although it "seems" to lack some spicy side, any time the road asks for quick response, you can feel the car has much more control than you think. I like that car too. Just hoping it lasts as long as my SPG.
Oh, fuel consumption is incredibly frugal for a car this size. I get over 30 mpg (u.s.gal.) regularly.
And ESP and traction control are unbelievably efficient on our icy roads heere..
