Do you have several Saab shops to pick from in your area? Otherwise I would think if they work on Swedish cars and have done the job before, they should be able to handle it.
All depending on mileage but maybe it is time for valve cover gaskets at the same time. Thermostat for sure and upper/lower radiator hose plus heater hoses are other suggestions. If radiator is original, it might be due too.
The if's and should's are almost endless at a job like this and the price tag just keeps climbing.
You don't want to drive it too far because if it ends up like this, it is a fortune in labor trying to clean out the mess.
