10 years ago moved to south FL and needed to get tinting. Then new 9-5 1999 still in warr and having things done there, had the dealer tint it for me. I definitely of course paid a premium for it being through the dealer and then paid a little more amount to get the lifetime warr.

Now it has begun peeling. It did well for 10 years. So I have it in for the lifetime replacement. I still had my originally signed contract of course! They now have in-house service. They are working on it now but the tint mgr is definitely grumbling about it being free. Now trying to determine if all or which windows they are doing as I took it in last year for same and they only did the driver window, nothing else. All but one are starting to peel or bubble now.

So he's grumbling because it seems his "impression" of a lifetime warr is on defect in the installation or materials only. But, I specifically asked about that and even required them to write a contract and the salesperson SIGN it at the time I bought it just for this very reason. Everyone wants to upsale you on stuff but never wants to stand behind it.

Actually, I did both my Saabs at the time and subsequently sold the other so they are at least only having to retint one of them! Why is everything such a hastle with these guys? If they were smart, they'd be trying to make me really happy with their service today and get me to test drive that demo '11 Aero!!

Oh, and between waiting for the shuttle and always being the last drop, 2 hours went by from time I got to the dealer till I got to work. Great service. And people ask me why in the world do I change my own oil and stuff?!?!
