Not my experience - I have had very little trouble with the car beyond the (defective design) rear springs/camber and a self-inflicted 2 year brake job. Even the battery outlived the warranty. But no one can predict the future, even given your repair record. I wonder why they did the whole headlamp assembly and not just the bulbs. Pull the fuse and disable DRLs - Xenon lamps don't particularly like to be cycled off and on all the time. Out of warranty - get a Sams Club (or Costco or BJ) battery and resign yourself to frequent replacements - battery life is a crap shoot and doesn't depend much on the car its put into - until you find a good one. My daughter went through three Sams Club batteries in 3 years until she got one that lasted the (remaining) life of the car. So far all your failures have been minor failures that don't affect the basic running of the car. Engine, Chassis, Brakes, Transmission, Cooling system, Steering, interior and exterior finish - these are the big buck items and this is where Saabs shine in the long run.
