rather than replace the bypass valve, put in the Mackay hose kit from eeuro. Gets rid of the bypass and you never have to worry about it again. A/C seems to work just fine. This is how the European spec 95s come from the factory, and the hose kit is only $29.90. That is what I did in my 2001 Aero.
As a matter of fact I ordered all new hoses for all cooling for $80.00 or so. good deal and good for peace of mind in a 150,000 mile car.
