hi, my 05 arc wagon 80k, has a host of issues, low coolant message about a year ago was diagnosed by saab dealer as saw no leaks, and pressure tested head to be normal. was told oil leaking out of corner of head, dealer retouqued head. i got home to find some of the valve cover bolts to be laying in the di casste!! so i called to tell them of my finding and that i was not happy with this type of careless work. 8k later (now) my low coolant is back on, i added coolant and went to dealer. dealer is now saying the leak of the coolant is the thermostat?? why are they able to find it now but not last year!! so im not sure what that means right now? loose bolts? bad housing,? they also noted 2 oil leaks, one is the valve cover...big surprise there with the fact they never tightend it correctly,, and a timing cover leak?? so the other issue is a intermeittent warm no start. several times after i shut car off and came back to it 15-20 mins later it would sort of bobble on start up and stall, then it will just crank,,,, i called dealer and they said they see this alot and it is likely crank angle sensor.... i was advised to wait like 30 mins and restart... yep it works.. its happend about 4 times now, so i went in today to have the issues addressed, i am under gm major warranty still.. so called by the dealer and the warranty company (gm) wants to come see the car??? the concern is that the dealer said if they dont see the condition they will probabbly not cover the part of labor?? i dont understand why they would not, why cant the dealer make the part fail if in fact thats the issue,,, any way i will hear back in like 48 hrs or so..
