Some have clamied that the Saab branded Motor oil isn't the same as Mobil 3309 or Toyota TIV and have different Saab only additive packages. I dont belive it Seems like a pretty small market for developing an oil. The 3309 is the correct spec fluid for the Saab 5 speed. The Mobil 1 syn is full synthetic and meets Toyota T-IV. I hope its not too much of a stretch to say it shoud be fine in our 5-speed slush boxes. It has worked in both my 4 and 5 speeds. I know im only one data point but no issues so far (knock on wood)
