I like the look of the NG9-5, but it is a larger vehicle than what I need, more expensive, and the future for vehicle specific parts is still very cloudy.
The head room issue is annoying. I haven't noticed it when sitting in the few NG9-5s I've examined previously, and I did lower the seat in my boss' car as much as it would lower before starting to change seat pitch and other adjustments. Head room inside the LaCrosse is fine but the upper door jamb still seems painfully low when entering/exiting.
What is more odd is that in conversations with the auto transport companies I learned that a final pre-production change in the LaCrosse was to increase the roof height by 3/4 inch. Enough change that these vehicles can now not be shipped in the lower two tiers of a three-high auto transport rail car. Yet I still bang my head!
