It seems as if there was a lot more traffic 10 years ago. Buyers moving from the 9000 to the 9-5 were sharing hints and tips about what was common and what wasn't. As aftermarekt parts became available for the then young 9-5 there was lots of discussion too.
Now the 9-5 is an orphan car and those of us with one (or more) are concerned with longevity rather than performance. Concerned with parts availability rather than modifications that may damage alrady rare components. Aftermarket parts are drying up and being discontinued (i.e. the MacKay hose set) so fewer success stories there too.
The car is 15 years old and much has been discusssed already. Many of the new owners seem to be young drivers for which this is their first car, and who may be more inclined to Tweet rather than post on an on-going discussion board forum.
