Sorry this is late, I was on the road all day yesterday and just saw your question.
You will need to order the cylinder from a Dealer. You will need your VIN and your Vehicle Title (which contains the VIN) to prove you are the legal owner.
Anyone who bought an older used car might want to remove the current ignition cylinder to see if the key code is written on the cylinder. My cylinder was factory original and the laser etched numbers on the cylinder ARE NOT the key code. My replacement cylinder has the key code hand written on the cylinder body with what was likely a Sharpie type pen. There is a chance an older car may have already had keys changed from the factory set.
If the original selling Dealer executed the Vehicle Delivery Process correctly your key code will be written in the back of your Service & Maintenance Booklet in the glove box.
Removing the current ignition cylinder requires less than one minute. Twist the plastic housing surrounding the ignition cylinder 15 degrees or so clock-wise, then lift off. This housing contains the key sensing coil for the immobilizer system. On the aluminum barrel which contains the cylinder you will see a square hole in about the 4 o'clock position. Insert the ignition key in the cylinder and turn to OFF, or the 12 o'clock position. Insert the short leg of a 3mm or so hex key into this square hole and push the Allen wrench toward the 2 o'clock position. This will release a latch and the cylinder will lift straight up and out.
Reinstall the cylinder by having the key in the lock and the lock turned to 12 o'clock. (If the latch depresses you have the key in the correct position) Simply push the cylinder into the holder. You may need to depress the latch with a free finger.
The immobilizer housing goes on using the reverse order of removal steps.
