I just had mine done on my 2000 at ~180K miles. Quite possibly the first time it was done (as I have no record of that from the PO), and PCV#6 wasn't installed until I bought it at ~130K miles. My mechanic said the screen was fine. When I did the valve cover a couple years ago it was decent inside, if I had any concerns then I would've dropped the pan ASAP. I only did the pan for piece of mind.
