I have a 2000 95 Gary Fisher Wagon which shows code 0453. This is the last code I have to correct and I have no idea how to proceed. I have replaced all sensors in the evap system except the one on the tank. Think I will wait 'til summer and warm weather on that one. The code says "switch high". What does that mean exactly I asked the specialist would this cause any damage to the engine, and was told,"no". ??? I have reset the engine light multiple times, but it always comes back on after a few restarts. Interestingly enough, the light stayed off for about two weeks while visiting Santa Fe, NM at 5000-7000 feet. I live at close to sea level. Anyone have any ideas on this one. Great car except for this.
