The joy of replacing a headlamp in 10 degree weather Posted by MI-Roger [Email] (#882) [Profile/Gallery] (more from MI-Roger) on Tue, 21 Jan 2014 15:10:15 Members do not see ads below this line. - Help Keep This Site Online - Signup |
At least it was the driver's side which is only difficult and awkward, the passenger's side is almost impossible with the Dame Edna front clip. I did manage to break the $2.21 H7 lamp socket when attempting to re-seat it on the lamp. Oh well, another job element when I drop the fascia in the Spring to replace all the lamps - less today's low beam.
Has anyone used the ceramic H7 sockets sold by Amazon? I wonder if they are better than the pseudo bakelite ones by Saab.
