In case someone is still looking for this. There is a way around the divorce/marriage procedure that worked for me. The radio can easily be taken apart into three sections: the CD player on top, the bottom section with the electronics/cassette player, and the front plate with the buttons. The marriage/divorce information is in the bottom section. If you have a broken display screen or CD player, you can replace the face plate or CD player with the parts from another radio, keeping the bottom section that is married to your car. You can also easily remove the tape player from the bottom section, attached with 4 screws, and replace it with the tape player from another radio. Easiest way to get an aux input is probably with CD connect from http://www.saabaux.com. It;s expensive (about $200 US). I just ordered one.
