Swapped out my Throttle Body last Friday and car ran great for 740 miles last weekend.
The skinny: I got the CEL codes 1260, 1261, 1251. Car was running “off” up/down in RPM at idle, high idle, and surging with a constant throttle position. At home I found the YouTube video about resetting the “limp home mode”. The car then ran “OK” but would surge, couldn't get it to set the CEL again but went for the TB from eeuroparts.
The swap: I didn't realize 2 of the lines were coolant so I made a bit of a mess. The clip on the electrical connector on the back was a pain. The “O-ring” on the bottom needs some grease to help it “stick” in place for assembly. Some of those would have been nice to know in advance.
The background: The car has had a gentle surge very rarely and very gently for a 1-2 years. Never got any CELs for surging as far as I know up until just last week.
