Got the wife to come help me up the ramps this morning.
Spent 3.5 hours, probably two of them just figuring how to snake forearms and fingers where it seemed they could not go.
the 2 percent that needs to be done is, to get the old cable out!!
One of the mechanical connections - the one on the engine block near the brake fluid reservoir, has just has about zero clearance to get a socket in there. I'm thinking just cut off the old wire around that screw somehow.
I took the opportunity with the battery out of the car to charge it a bit, from 12.3 to 12.7 volts. Started right up! And my scan gauge read 14 volts! I don't think I have seen it that high.
I'm nervous about driving with both ends of the old cable flopping around but I don't think they can move enough to break anything. I took a ton of pics which I will upload later including that one unreachable screw.
