use and throw away. They are getting to be scheduled replacement items.
We seem to be getting 3-4 years out of the batteries in all our Saabs here.
My '96 9K needed one in fall of 2010. Replaced it again in the fall of 2014. Totally gone. My daughter had the car when it died. Think she got it at AutoZone or Advanced.
Wife's '03 9-5 went almost as long. The Walmart batt it had could have gone a little longer, but not much. The alternator was heading south, too, so did both in November to avoid having the car strand my wife in winter. Put in a Duralast.
Daughter's 9-3. Duralast battery the PO put in the winter of 2011 went to December 2014. Almost 3 years.
I remember putting a Die Hard in my '84 C900 in about 1988 or '89. It went 10 years.
