2000 4-cyl lpt wagon at 222,000 mls.
SO after a recent post where I wasn't sure what was causing the engine to run on after key-off, I have now at least determined that it is in fact the fan.
Mostly it is for just 5 to ten seconds but sometimes it goes for thirty. (I am in SoCal and the weather here is actually warm-ish - sorry all you guys back east)
Anyone got any experience here? How am I to guess if it is the fan itself, which one of them etc. Is it the fan motor regulator? I like the latter - its cheaper.
Any experience shared would be appreciated.
