engine rebuild or?

So I have came into some extra money and I have a 2000 aero wagon with a nice set of heads with the I guess classic case of them coming loose and needing to be retorqued. Also I have low compression in my #2 cylinder.
So my question would be should I get another engine while I have the money or should I have the one I have rebuilt?
I was thinking replace and keep the old one and get it rebuilt, which would minimize my down time, yet at the same time I also figure that rebuilding would save me some money since its only one cylinder that will need to be bored out. Then rebuilding would require me to find a good shop that can do the job in the SC area preferably the myrtle beach area since I only live an hour away from there.
Any input on this to help me make a better decision would be greatly appreciated. Thanks everyone.
