The exhaust will be pretty loud inside. i just went through this on my 9000 when the pipe was mostly rotted in half at the flange under the front seat area. Once it was fixed it was like night and day. The exhaust on the 9-5 is broken completely in half right at the end of the front muffler. I told the owner if I were to make an offer for the car I would rather NOT have them fix it before I buy it. I've installed enough Saab aftermarket exhaust systems that I told my self the next one will be stainless. The aftermarket mild steel exhausts only last a few years and you're back at it again. If they were to fix it I'm sure they would end up dropping big $$ to have a shop do it. For the money, I would rather buy SS and do it myself. Car looked pretty solid. Some parking lot dents on the doors and quarters. It's a driver, which is fine for what I need it for. I like the Aero seats in the 9000's better than the 9-5 Aero seats, though they were still very comfortable. I do still need to scope out a couple 9000's in the area. Most are high mileage.They're also less money. The asking price for the 9-5 is $6850. I don't think I would pay that much. I need to look at the classified and blue book to see what it's worth.
