No mods to the bumper cover are needed to install the Draw Tite to the late model cars, but it is a very tight fit up to the plastic. The hitch also does not hang down much so it's not really obvious. I used the same hitch on my 04 Aero wagon and the 09 wagon. An important trick is to be aware of the foam access plugs into the top of the frame rails to help get at the bolts. While you are in there, you will probably find that the bumber beam was not fully tightened (both my wagons, right side).
Lots of agonizing on this board about the removal of the lighting connector on 06 and later, so I was prepared to splice into the harness. I was thrilled to see the connector present in the spare well on my 09 Griffin Wagon
