Spray with PB blaster or other penetrating oil first, let sit for a couple of hours or more. I use a Lisle 54150 wiper arm puller, works great for this, very tough little tool with bar for more leverage. If you need it. Saabsince93 references what looks like a solid little puller and I know he has used it with all those 9-5 lying about. Good item to have in your toolbox.
I destroyed a cheap auto zone puller trying to do this a few years back. Some of those really cheap battery terminal pullers are not up to this job.
