Hi, yes, the ground somehow looses connection when the engine block gets hot, perhaps material differences with the thermal excursions. In any case SAAB decided to put a ground on this bolt and its disrupted every time a thermostat is replaced. Additionally, there is also a known issue with a splice on the SAME line that is by the ECU. The splice has to be re soldered, I think personally this is less likely culprit but never the less in-line with the same ground. I am considering another ground line just to help. I should note that I am in Florida, so the hotter the more knocking. I did see very short term differences in the octane/cleaners but only a product of the chemical burns. Short term only. Fix and clean all grounds in these DI cars.
