The problem isn't the bolt you use, the problem is the weight of the turbo unit hanging off the exhaust manifold. If the turbounits support bracket underneath the turbo is loose then all the hard bouncing the car dose is bouncing the turbo units weight on the exhaust manifold. The radiator lines and oil lines for the turbo help support it but they allow movement Every bolt or stud will break in time. Even with the turbo unit bracket heavy pot hole driving day after day with the Areos stiff suspension the studs will have stress it's only a matter of time before they snap. I've just replaced two busted studs and yes by just removing the metal air tube to turbo unit can get the job done. My two busted studs came out like butter sliding off a hot knife. Very easy! I have no problem doing the job again because of how easily the operation went and in time I'm sure I'll need to. Spray the busted stud with pb blaster, then take a center punch and hit the back of the busted stud one time real hard. Get a pack of 1/16th sized drill bits (very small) and use them to make your pilot hole. Drill the center of the busted stud just under a half an inch depth. Get a pack of left hand drill bit set use the 7/64 and run it down your pilot hole you made in the stud. Sometimes the stud will spin out using this drill bit If not get a 12 pc screw remover set. Drill master makes them and use #0, attach it to your drill and use the drill to get the tap started in your hole. Soon as the tap grabs remove it from the drill and put a socket wrench on the back of the tap, then it a matter of gently spinning the stud out using the socket wrench. Careful as to not twist to hard and bust off the tap inside the stud. All drill bits I found at harbor freights
