My 01 lpt midnight blue wagon might done. I've driven several cars until having to junk them, but never had at least one similar car on which to use the parts. I sort of have space to store it, but it's not ideal and is made more difficult by the car not starting at the moment (charged battery, but the leaking radiator might somehow be related as it ran until last parked with the leak, a slow crank doesn't seem to help so maybe the fuel pump died at the same time). It can't just sit in a yard. I also have an 03 so many parts can potentially be used. I might be adding another 9-5 (maybe Dame Edna). It's also cold to properly strip the car so ideally I'd find a way to get it off the street and up a slightly inclined driveway until spring.
Do I need to divorce any parts or just know the VIN? Some stuff is basically new such as the alternator (lots of work to salvage) and water pump (maybe not worth salvaging). The car could be fixed, but the cost makes it likely not worth it. I'm not sure it would be worth selling. Anyone sell a not running car at a reasonable price? I could also keep it as a project car, but being just an lpt, I'm not sure that's worthwhile.
