Evap leak fault - return might be intermittent . . . My experience with one daughter's 2006 was that the gas cap change was not the main issue. The test that sets the code only runs under specific conditions, so it can take varying amounts of time for P0455 to show up again. Ultimately a new Evap solenoid and line were what fixed the P0455 on that car.
Swedecar replied to a post I had on 'building my own' replacement line and indicated that the solenoid valve used on Dame Edna ('06+) cars is slightly different from anything available as valve-only. So in the end I installed the expensive SAAB valve-and-hoses. When the CEL came on 2 weeks later, my daughter assumed it was the same old thing - BUT it was P0116, which I am happy to say has been put to bed with a new Motorad T-stat and SAAB temp sensor.
You can try cleaning the valve, or perhaps get one from a wrecking yard. You might also check to be sure the joint at the TB and the connector to the tank line are good. The P0455 error is really irritating, but it doesn't affect driveability.
Hope this helps.
