My 2008 Aero started the headlight flutter and a Tech 2 diagnosis pointed to a bad cable connection. Rather than send off for a new one, I pulled off the connector and used some good contact cleaner and dabbed on that "Special Sauce" - Stabilant 22 to both the cable and leveler unit contacts. ALL WAS BACK TO GOOD! This stuff is like Holy Water and I use it religiously for any potential electrical connector problems. Made in Canada and available on FleaBay. A little kit comes with a concentrated amount you thin 50/50 with electronics grade near 100% isopropyl alcohol and I'm a believer! It is advertised to vastly insure electrical conductivity between metal contacts of any nature. My latest use was just a drop on a 3.5mm cable plug from my I-Phone into my Aux receptacle for the dash audio unit and no more static crackle. Next miracle will be to resurrect my 2 vintage Proton stereo receivers with notoriously noisy rotary switches. And what about those failing crimp connectors under the rear carpet that through failing ABS warnings on the dash! Maybe a hypo injection of this stuff into the encapsulated connectors could avoid the rewire splice around them? Anyway, best of luck with getting the headlights back to normal.
