What great information you provided Jacob. So far, the SAAB seems to be running. Drove it last night and no issues. The Oregon State Fair is on here and I took today off (Monday) from work in case I needed to work on the SAAB. But instead, we are going to head to Salem Oregon to the Fair. About 50 miles or so each way. Anyway, I think I'll chance it and drive the SAAB. Have AAA towing just in case. Wish us luck. I will look at my glued extension pipe for the thermostat and make sure it's holding. Too bad the part is not longer available. Guess I need to find a 3.0 in a wrecking yard. We had the best wrecking yard here in Portland called Rose Auto Wrecking. They had lots of SAAB's. And about every other car. Got parts from them over the years for several cars. Unfortunately, they went out of business a few years ago.
