The mom and pops shop (closed)I took the car to was a 200 mile round trip the car ran top notch as long as it’s not pushed into the orange. Boosts hard all the way thru yellow and very quick at anytime in sport mode. I’ve suspected low fuel delivery from the start and at the time the code for the cassette misfire was stored the engine light was flashing for a good 5 seconds from me trying to push into the Orange. Plugs are new $17 each hate buying new plugs so if it is a low fuel issue the cassette would misfire from the lack of it.
I’m ordering a new pump and this would be the first time I ever had a weak fuel pump. For several years the car had a fuel pressure regulator that was essentially hollowed out not working. I’ve just found this and replaced perhaps this had contributed to a weak fuel pump.
If the cat is fragile as Anders said I know mine is toast. New cat and fuel pump is what it’s getting. The smoke I witnessed I’m chalking up to excessive unburnt fuel mixed with condensation because after the 200 mile run I’ve not seen it smoke since.
Thanks for the suggestions I would of never replaced the cat or the pump without them
