It was the final year of a car that had been around since 1999, so pretty much every problem that could have been worked out had been, but they cheap out on some parts starting in 2006 with the "Dame Edna" redesign. Saab went with cheaper seat leather that cracks, door pulls that come apart and finish on the door trim that flakes, and a standard GM radio and climate control panel. Assuming you're looking at the white sedan, the seats look immaculate, but you can see that the silver trim on the driver's door is flaking off. There are a few scratches in the silver dashboard, but that's about the extent of it. The good things about the Dame Edna are that is has the most powerful engine put in an OG9-5, mostly thanks to the "king COBRA" turbo intake pipe; the ACC issues with broken blend door linkages seem to have been fixed for the most part, and they didn't suffer from failing display pixels in the ACC and SID displays. They also went back to solid rubber subframe bushings in the rearmost positions of the front subframe. Those were extremely failure prone on the 2002-2005 models. Some people also say that the suspension seems tighter than in previous years.
