FYI - The answer given to me by my local Saab parts supplier is that in 2002 and later models Saab changed the battery position by rotating it 90 degrees. The upper Rad hose mount location & shape had to change to acccomodate the rad hose bending around the new battery position. Other then that it the same rad but the later rads won't work on '01 or earlier 9-5s.
