Newly bought video borascope doesn't see any turbo vane pieces in cylinders after removing sparkplugs...However.. Removal of throttle body from manifold reveals likely piece of vane wedging butterfly slightly open in throat of body... Haven't yet released it to analyze. Next step is blotting up oil in intake manifold and scoping that. Maybe hook up shop vac to intake manifold and rotate crank shaft to get valves in each cylinder to open and let inrush air pull back any debris through the manifold? Tranny isn't manual so can't engage gear and rotate tire to turn engine. Co-worker says removing intake manifold for inspection is best arduous course of action. ANy suggestions to make this easier?? I hear this isn't easy. AND... all this work is being done in open air driveway. NOT MY IDEA OF WINTER FUN! Kirk d
