Thanks for that tip: useful info to know. As I said in another reply in this thread, I don't believe in "coincidental" problems occurring when my cars are being worked on. Recently had to have new TWICE computer installed, and when I got the car back, central locking button on console was inop, although doors could be power-locked/unlocked from both key fobs and manual buttons on doors. Indy initially said switch was bad, but when I pointed out that the switch was fine prior to the TWICE swap, he took the car back in and obviously reprogrammed something via the Tech II, as he asked for my second key when I came back for the car.
I'm not a big fan of having to go back and forth to the Indy shop to get things done correctly, but I guess that's the "cost of doing business" with keeping Saabs on the road if you're not a wrench turner. The fact that the shop is 5 minutes away by car, and also reachable by bicycle makes it all bearable.
