Good day,
I hope you are all doing well, anyhow
***2008, 9-5 AERO ATM 5DR with 110K***
SWEEDCAR or Anyone else could shed some light on the issue
Trying to troubleshoot an issue with "No Low Speed Fan 37LH" Coolant temp sensor reading 105C from my experience at this coolant temp at least low speed should be working. Checked all fuses and relay in engine bay fuse/relay box, all are OK and tested. As per WIS and now with TECH2 going into DICE activating low speed fan function - nothing happens, high speed OK. Testing it on another 2009 9-5 AERO ATM 5DR with 90K - low and high speed fans both work when activated with TECH2. Back to 2008, when I ground signal terminal on low fan relay 155 terminal 85/2 in the engine bay, low speed relay click and both fans 37LH and 37RH come ON at low speed. In a few days, I will ring/check continuity on signal wire 2 of low speed relay 155 as per wiring diagram in WIS to terminal 12 of H43-1 junction. Then from there to DICE/628 terminal 35 Getting to H43-1 and DICE module hoping I could locate an open circuit/brocken signal wire. is a bit troublesome from what I understand its bellow A pillar of a drivers side.
Am I correct by saying that when ECU receives a signal from coolant temp sensor, DICE grounds pin 35 and slow speed cooling fans come on?
Is there something I am overlooking? Any information is greatly appreciated.
Thank you!
