From a safety point of view, I am going with non-ceramic in the future. Since it was cool out when my brakes failed, the Akenbendo ceramics felt like I was dragging a corning ware dish across a smooth steel surface. I guess the ceramics need heat and pressure to work. Not a good thing if you lose power brakes. I was pushing down all the way at low speed with really no effect. Glad it was low speed but I entered a roadway with loss of control. In the worst case i would have been T boned by one of the many gravel trucks in the area. Right into the drivers B pillar. Lucky that time. Every day is a gift.... 1st priority - vacuum lines, 2nd is a properly functioning e-brake. 3rd + are dealers choice.
