Hopefully this helps out there that have interior door pulls that have deteriorated and are now unavailable new. I was searching for a repair to the door pull and came up with recovering the door pull with leather that matched the perforated seats in my 2004 Aero. I bought a leather perforated steering wheel cover, and cut a section out of it to sew on. I folded and glued the edges over at the ends, then sewed it on the door pull. I had to sew through the leather since once you cut it you can't use the threads like you would if sewing it on a steering wheel. It feels really nice compared to the flaking door pull. The only thing I would do different is tape or fill in any areas that have chipped away as you can see a slight indent in the leather where the original cover had pieces missing. The steering wheel cover was about $11, and is plenty to do all 4 door pulls if desired. The sewed seam is at the inside front edge so it is not seen when the door panel is on the car. I took the door panel off to sew the leather on, which I would recommend.
