On the low side (sic), a can of refrigerant or so might return your system to normal at a bargain basement price. I think it's a variable displacement compressor so it can be a bit tricky for a DIY. My 2005 was getting a shade too warm in summer after several years of ownership (aka a small leak) so I gave it a small shot, straight up. Cleared up the problem within minutes. On the high side, the cost could be into the four figures in real cheddar to rebuild the whole guacamole.
