It's perfectly normal. It also depends at what battery condition the measurement was taken.By word condition, I mean was battery fully charged or almost depleted when you took the reading. The voltage is known to float a tad bit as long as it above 12.5VDC and bellow 14.1VDC. Anything above 14.0VDC can damage your battery and/or vehicles' electronics.
