2005 9-5 Linear Wagon with a 5speed MT. 220K. Owned since new, picked it up in Sweden and used it for a year in Norway. Love the car. Sentimental attachment. But need to make a rational Al choice about when to give up. Interior still looks new, but rust at rear wheel wells. It drinks a quart of oil with every tank of gas, but still runs strong. But last week on my commute home apparently my serpentine belt slipped off. I First lost power steering, then I noticed my alternator warning light, then low coolant. When I got it cooled off at home, I added 3/4 gallon of coolant before e it leaked/poured a quart on the floor. Don't know if it
was coming from water pump or failed hose. Forgot to mention airbag warning light came on two weeks ago and I was searching for a shop to diagnose and estimate repair cost for this. Moved to Boise Idaho a few years ago, unfortunately only SAAB Indy shut his shop down last year on retirement. Are the stars aligning against me, or do I get the sepentine belt replaced and see what else needs to be fixed?
