Hello,
If you have done a timing belt you should have no problem doing the compressor. I would drain the oil from the old compressor after you remove it to see what else you might need to change. If the oil looks fine you can probably get away with just the compressor but if it is full of fine metal debris you will need to change the reciever/dryer/resevoir and the expansion valve and should really flush out the lines, condensor and evaporator. Technically you should change the reciever/dryer but it is rarely done unless a reason presents itself. Ask if you have any problems. I would pay a shop to have the system vacuumed and filled by weight after you do the replacement. Good Luck, Bernie
