I just read over my notes, here are some highlights that might help.
- get a pigtail to test abs sensors. cut one out of a junk yard car or buy a new one, they are pretty standard and inexpensive SKP SK970040 ABS Wheel Speed Sensor Connector, 1 Pack
- Measure the resistance between the leads of each sensor. Do this at the wheel and at the junction. All of my good sensors read ~1040 ohms and I'd guess a reasonable range is 1000-1500 ohms.
- I found that the tech2 sees only one abs fault at a time. Resolve it, and if there are more they will appear. You wont see the others until the first is resolved. I found this behavior odd and confusing at first.
- Once resolved, the code will remain until manually cleared. It was disorienting to see a code that I knew for a fact was resolved.
the last two items were strange and I dont know if they are an artifact of the Tech 2 or of the ABS controller itself.
