I replaced the pressure line on my 2000 9-5 about a year or two ago. Saab, and all of the aftermarket companies, have discontinued the older style that your car and mine uses, so the entire pressure line from the rack to the pump has to be replaced, which is why the subframe has to be dropped, or at least lowered in the back. I just lowered mine, and had enough access to do the job. I'm not sure what the shop means by "crossover lines", but if the issue is just with your pressure line, then that's all that needs to be replaced. It consists of several parts, though. There's one piece that goes from the rack to a spot above the oil pan, and then several more parts that comprise the section from the oil pan to the cooling loop behind the bumper, and the flexible portion that goes to the pump. I used the ProParts version, which I wouldn't recommend, because it involved some bending of the hard lines to get them to fit properly. I'd pay extra for the factory kit and save myself several hours of trial and error.
