That makes perfect sense ! I will jam some paper towels on the area and try a pressure test after a drive cycle and leave on during the cooling cycle to confirm the leak. Do you recommend replacing the current water pump has been installed for 24 months/11K miles ? Can you confirm the two o-rings on the engine block to water pump fittings are the same size ? Still not sure if I will diy or send to a shop but I will source the o-rings from my contact so this won't need a third replacement.
